I have Mcafee free thru my comcast connection. For the last three weeks, it doesn't work. When I click on the icon, the box that normally comes up when starting comes up and then disappears after 5 seconds. If I right click and hit run, it says a scan is already in progress. I cannot access any part of Mcafee from any program files and it does not show as running. I don't want to download another free spyware/antivirus since they all seem to be fraudulent. Does anyone know what I can do to get Mcafee back? When my fiance had a problem with it (we share a connection) and tried to reinstall, it wouldn't allow him, so I'm afraid to do that.

I have comcast and Mcafee is working fine, you can re install it I did that many times every time I format my computer I down load it and install it.
