What is the best free firewall to use with avast! antivirus?

i currently have avast! antivirus and the windows firewall that came with my vista os. i was wondering what was a good free firewall that doesnt take too much space and that i can just turn it on and wont have to worry about it. or should i just stay with the windows firewall? oh and also, when i download it where does it go? in my c or d drive.

most virus are spread through IE. IE is not a safe browser. you should use a more secure browser to protect your PC from virus.

i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can block any any popup and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE browser. as you know, most of virus spread throught internet and webpage.
